| I was there on the 25th. Very very big expo. I took 265 photo's and some of them are on my site (see signature). Most of my time went to the Outrun 2 SP DLX machine | |

| Look at this lucky guy! This is what I call a DELUXE version! (or should I say a Twin Deluxe)? With OutRun2 SP, you got the Ferrari and with VS4, you got the babes! Then when you leave the show, you realize this was a dream. | |

| (cfr. above picture) Hey! Watch out on the right! That nasty SpongeBob is trying to steal your babes!
Seriously, Nikky asked me to write for the magazine about new games but I think you're more quickly aware of new stuff than I am.
Maybe I'll can write about new DDRs since you don't like them. BTW, why do you hate them? (did one of them beat you one day?)

| Why I hate DDR and other music machines;
- they earn A LOT of money at the expense of other machines wich are removed and replaced by music machines.
- People who are playing it are making complete fools of themselves.
- They are very large and on the same place could be a Daytona usa 2.
- The machines look stupid with all the pink and stuff.
- There are more than 80 different kinds.
- The game itself looks stupid, the only thing that apears on the screen are arrows.
- Graphics are not of this time
It's just my personal opinion, I' ve gotten alot of mails from DDR fans...
Why wouldn't you write something for the magazine? The more the better!

In fact, I never played such a game. But I think it's good to have something different aside the usual drivers and shooters. Variety is good. Of course if they remove Daytona 2 to put this instead... - outrunner wrote:

Sure! And I'll be glad to participate. I just hope to have something interesting to write... So you played OutRun2 SP, do you think it's as good as Daytona USA 1 or 2 were in their days? And do you think it's interesting for operators to purchase the upgrade kit for their OutRun2 twins?

| Upgrade: Short and powerful answer: Y-E-S. Outrun SP also includes the original Outrun 2 courses so everything extra is uhm... extra! The surroundings of the SP versions are even more astonishing than the first version. But on the practical side; I don't think that operators will upgrade their cabinets because the original still earns well. Also the general public doesn't care... Outrun 2 SP is a superb game but I'm a Daytona USA2: battle on the edge kind of guy | |

| The figures have been announced: There was a total of 24,278 professional visitors this year at the ATEI. It's nearly 10% more than last year making it the most successful ATEI ever! I think the arcade sector is going better and better... Next edition is scheduled for 24-26 january 2006. | |
