Batsugun Exa Label

Batsugun, Toaplan's last shmup, is returning to the arcade in 2023 in a new version named Batsugun Exa Label.

Batsugun was released in 1993 and is considered by many players as the origin of the 'bullet hell' genre. It was Toaplan's last game as the company disbanded after its release. After that, some of the company members founded Cave.

Junya Inoue (Key Visual) and Yoshitatsu Sakai (Sound) who worked on the original game are returning and Keishi Yonao works on the arranged soundtrack.

Batsugun Exa Label is developed by TOAPLAN and exA-Arcadia TEAM EXA-AM1. It will be unveiled at JAEPO 2023 (February 10-11th).

Batsugun, le tout dernier shmup de Toaplan, revient en 2023 dans une nouvelle version nommée Batsugun Exa Label.

Batsugun est sorti en 1993 et est considéré par de nombreux joueurs comme à l'origine du genre " bullet hell ". C'était le dernier jeu de Toaplan, la société s'étant dissoute après sa sortie. Après cela, certains des membres de la société ont fondé Cave.

Junya Inoue (Key Visual) et Yoshitatsu Sakai (Sound) qui ont travaillé sur le jeu original sont de retour et Keishi Yonao travaille sur la bande sonore arrangée.

Batsugun Exa Label est développé par TOAPLAN et exA-Arcadia TEAM EXA-AM1. Il sera dévoilé lors de la JAEPO 2023 (10-11 février).

EXA Label features:
- Grazing enemy bullets and other objects to accumulate counters.
- Score multiplier based on the counter value is added when an enemy is killed by a bomb.
- Difficulty level changes according to counter accumulation, adjusted enemy attack patterns, ...
- UI with various info.

- Raser les balles ennemies et d'autres objets pour accumuler des compteurs.
- Un multiplicateur de score basé sur la valeur du compteur est ajouté lorsqu'un ennemi est tué par une bombe.
- Le niveau de difficulté change en fonction de l'accumulation des compteurs, des modèles d'attaque de l'ennemi, ...
- Interface utilisateur avec diverses informations.

- EXA LABEL MODE: a brand new modern version of the game focused on scoring and bomb usage
- EXA LABEL EXTREME MODE: the ultimate challenge for players
