Lord of Vermilion IV

Square Enix will present Lord of Vermilion IV at the JAEPO 2017. Visitors will receive special starter pack on the  stand. The pack contains a JAEPO limited player card and 7 JAEPO limited use demon card.

The game will start operation during summer 2017. A teaser site with few info is opened: the silhouette of the two characters and the staff main members. The producer is Yuichi Tanzawa, the director is Yoshioi Asao (Game Studio Co., Ltd.), the main Character Design is Taiki and the musics are composed by Taku Iwasaki.

Location test are announced but the exact places must be confirmed:

February 17 (Fri) - 19 (Sun) Tokyo / Aichi / Osaka

February 24 (Fri) - 26 (Sun) Tokyo / Osaka / Fukuoka

Lord of Vermilion IV VER.4.1 is announced. This update named "Crime Incident" introduces a collaboration with Kodansha's comic magazines Afternoon. Characters coming from different series will appear in the game: Ah! My Goddess (Afternoon) , Witchcraft Works ( Good! Afternoon), BLAME! (Afternoon),  VINLAND SAGA (Afternoon), Houseki no Kuni (Monthly Afternoon).

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game, Square Enix announced that Lord of Vermilion IV will be adapted as a TV anime. The title is Lord of Vermilion: Guren no Oh ("The Crimson King").

The main cast for Lord of Vermilion: Guren no Oh includes Yūki Kaji as Kazuhiro Kamina and Misato Fukuen as Yuuki Shiraki.

The story of Lord of Vermilion: Guren no Oh is set in the year 2030, when a mysterious red mist accompanied by a strange high frequency resonance engulfs the city of Tokyo, rendering every living thing there unconscious. Suspecting an unknown virus, the Japanese government re-locates to Osaka and quarantines the city, but after 6 days the residents of Tokyo awaken, seemingly unharmed. Life begins to return to normal in Tokyo, but soon young people begin developing strange, supernatural abilities stemming from the power of their blood.
