new gameroom in antwerp

clc opened a brandnew arcade on the conincplein in antwerp, very close to the station. I didn't go there myself yet, but i'm hoping to do so very soon.
i hear it's a great place and many more of these will open soon in antwerp.

Seems I'll go more often to Antwerpen! 'til now, I was just going there from time to time for shopping (Blitz , USA Import, Wally's Groove World & Super Dragon Toys) or for Sportpaleis parties but now I'll come back to play!

Why did I think Blitz doesn't exist anymore??? They used to be in Deurne (where I live) but they seem to have disappeared. The only guy I still regularly see is Yves Deruyter but that's all. All the other guys seem to have vanished.


Anyhow, a good source told me toda there are 2 more arcades going to open in antwerp soon.....and looking at all the selling going on today at namusco, I think a lot of arcades soon will be having outrun and ghost squad.
I saw a lot of hand shaking and big smiles, so thats good news!! )

I must say that I was very impressed by the Deluxe version and if i had space and a really big door I would definitely buy two to put in my home-i would also need about 32000euro-but for now I'll have to make do with my very old outrun upright cabinet.............sigh

At the time I was used to go there, Blitz was in Herentalsebaan at number 355. A few years ago, they closed the shop and re-opened under a new name in front of the old location at number 374 (Gamemania/Rebel Grooves). Last year, they closed that shop for good.

So you got an OutRun! An operator wanted to sell me one for 5000 bef but I didn't buy it because I was affraid of being fed up with the game... What a fool I was.

Of course I was very impressed by the Outrun2 SP deluxe cabinet. You really feel the sound through the seat. It's also damn good looking, and the big screen is great too. I really love this game!

But the game that impressed me the most was the new Gaelco: Tuning Race! The moving cabinet is awesome, the sensation is unique even if it's only a prototype! Have you tried it?

J'ai joué le Tuning Race.. c'est pas mal..
J'aimerais le mouvement du siege, mais le jeu etait moins amusant.
Enfin, c'est pas un jeu mauvais, justement c'est pas super spécial.
Mais maintenant je compare tout avec Outrun 2 donc c'est difficile pour des autres jeux d'être bien )

Le jeux que j'aimerait mieux est le Silent Scope 2.
On a eu des jeux de tir electro-mechanique et celui les resemble un peu (la carabine est fixe). J'espère que je trouve une pour jouer a Anvers, parce que épargner pour acheter un ca va prendre beaucoup de temps

Est-ce qu'il y a des autres gens ici qui ont le joué beaucoup et qui peuvent me dire si c'est quelque chose on continu de jouer beaucoup ?

Bienvenue Aeneas! Nous sommes en famille maintenant! C'est chouette ça! J'aimais bien aussi le Tuning Race, c'était un prototype, le jeu n'est pas encore terminé. OutRun2 SP, c'est vrai que c'est génial. Mais il n'y avait que les nouveaux parcours (à travers les USA) qui étaient jouables aux portes-ouvertes.

J'aime bien Silent Scope 2 mais je trouve difficile de trouver les ennemis et de les tuer rapidement. Mais je n'y ai joué qu'une fois, ça doit être plus facile une fois qu'on a l'habitude. J'espère que tu trouveras un endroit où y jouer! Jusqu'à présent, je n'ai vu que des Silent Scope 1 dans les lunaparks, jamais le 2...

They opened a New Arcade in Statiestraat near Central Station
I know because i am one of the two guys you can find behind the Desk

oool that! i phoned to clc months ago asking to buy some old arcade cabinet... they were very cool but it's far from my home... now i can take appointment and after i'll go playing... thank you for information and thank clc to keep arcade alive!

yeah i work only a couple weeks for CLC atm and their stock is like a true Arcade Gamer's Wet Dream ^^

It's good to see the opening of a new arcade because more and more are closing down... (for example, the biggest arcade in Brussels is counting its last days... )

I am also on the road for CLC/Bo's Amusement
so am gonna make a list of all the places we have and what we have
standing there. Also gonna make some pictures of the places.

About the machines i have alot to learn, i am on first place a Console and Pc gamer but i always loved Arcades. So now i work in it but all the names and versions of the machines i have not a clue atm so if i make a mistake , just let me know
