light gun for jamma pcb?

Hi,

I am new in making arcade cabinets and i would like to start building a universal jamma cabinet that has a joystick, buttons and a light gun.

The problem is that i can't find information or where to buy a light gun that fits the jamma boards...

If it is not possible i am thinking of making a mame cabinet with one of my old computers.

Hi Jeroen,

Unfortunately, gun control device is not part of the JAMMA standard. JAMMA is just one joystick + 3 buttons per player. Every game that uses another control method (especially analog) does it in a non standard way. Most of the time, guns are not plugged to the JAMMA interface but to another connector on the game PCB or to a dedicated interface PCB. Do you have a particular game in mind?

but they work for a dedicated range of games only.

It is for playing games like area51, police trainer, duck hunt etc...
I have 28000 Rom files since today and i will start using mameUI64 with my old computer and maximus arcade.
So i am going to start building my cabinet with the aimtrak gun and the ipac controller.
